BES PTA Board Nomination Form Due by Monday, May 1, 2023

The BES PTA is currently accepting nominations for the next term's board positions and we are actively seeking interested candidates. Our goal is to ensure that every guardian has a voice on our PTA and is provided with the opportunity to become actively involved in supporting our school.

President - Presides over meetings, coordinates officer and committee work, represents the PTA at council meetings, creates meeting agendas, advocates for BES, and performs assigned duties.

Vice President - Will be the aide to President, conducts the annual membership campaign, engages with counterparts, and performs assigned duties. Presides as president if president is absent.

Treasurer - Manages all PTA funds, keeps financial records, presents reports at PTA meetings, ensures compliance with PTA policies and laws, and obtains dual authorization for disbursements.

Secretary - Keeps accurate meeting records, maintains a current membership list, oversees bylaws, ensures all records are filed, and maintains a current copy of the bylaws.
